Commitments
We believe in transparency, continuous improvement, and making the world a better place. We have provided some of our commitments and policies below.
Indigenous Land Acknowledgement
We would like to acknowledge and honour the original inhabitants of the land we are all on.
We specifically acknowledge our presence on the stolen land of the Wendake-Nionwentsio, Haudenosaunee, Mississauga, and Anishinabewaki nations. This land was stolen as part of the Williams Treaty in 1923, which resulted in inadequate reserve lands, the inability for these nations to continue living as they had been, and no compensation.
Understanding the history of settler colonialism, we recognize that our town, province, and country have, and continue to, participate and benefit from the marginalization of Indigenous people. We are thankful for the historical and continued contributions of Indigenous people who have been caretakers of this land far before our ancestors arrived.
We are committed to listening and learning, always striving to be better and work toward our own reconciliation as individuals and as a company doing business on this land.

Community
Although we are a 100% remote company, we still care for the communities we live and work in. Each quarter, The Learning Designers, chooses an organization to support in a meaningful way. We ask our employees to contribute ideas and organizations that are important to them.
