Content Optimization Consultation
A consultation is an opportunity for you to show us your current content (in any format) and receive suggestions for design, content, narration, and overall improvements. You can request us to review an entire project or any portion of a project at any stage of development. We will provide you with recommendation notes for you to use for later improvements.
Course Review
A lot of people and companies have dipped their feet into creating learning experiences, especially in recent years when a huge shift to online learning has become necessary. Your team may just want us to review the experience you have created and provide suggestions for improvements. We can review for: learning design, student engagement, accessibility (AODA, WCAG), technical functionality, etc.
Accessibility
At The Learning Designers, we champion accessibility in education as a core value, ensuring learning is inclusive and equitable for all. Our expertise lies in assessing and remediating educational materials to meet standards like WCAG and AODA, and crafting new learning experiences with inclusivity in mind. We strive to make education not just a privilege, but a right for everyone, creating a world where knowledge is accessible to all.
Instructional Design
Instructional design and development is full service design of a learning environment (face-to-face, hybrid/blended or online). This service will walk you through content creation all the way to execution.
eLearning Design + Development
eLearning design and development includes taking content your team has created, along with your vision for the course/training and creating online learning to suit your learner. This can take many forms, but some examples are, LMS course development, short learning objects, and interactive eLearning courses.
Workshops
Workshops are available on using eLearning authoring tools, teaching with technology teaching and training online and gamification and game-based learning. Workshops are active-learning based and aim to help your team to gain knowledge and experience in a given topic.
Keynote Presentation
Our founder + director, Shannon, has presented on topics relating to higher education, curriculum design and development, hybrid and online learning, teaching with technology, gamification and game-based learning, learning theory and employability skills. Shannon can present at your event on a related topic. We have some pre-developed keynote presentations, or Shannon can create a unique presentation for your event.
